HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I made this Halloween Wreath with a group of girlfriends at my house a couple of years ago. I bought all the things we needed and we had grilled vegetable sandwiches and drinks. We had a great time. I bought feather wreaths, orange and black balls in different sizes. We attached them with floral pins and ribbon. Great Project.
 Happy Halloween Everyone!

Our Harvest Of Pumpkins For The Fall

We decided it was time to harvest all the pumpkins in the garden. They all looked so good in their spots but we know it's time to plant new vegetables.

The butternut squash was a beautiful pale amber. We have quite a few, so I'll make a pot of soup from them.

I love the color contrast of the brick fireplace.

My fairytale pumpkin had a very pretty tendril.
The cinderella pumpkin had a bright orange glow.

What a great crop we got this year. All different sizes and colors.

Picture Perfect!

Saying goodbye til next year's planting.

Farmer's Market Downtown Santa Cruz

In Santa Cruz they have the best Farmer's Markets. It was fun shopping with my children Carly and Scott. They teach me so much about organic growers. They also have the best recipes to cook healthy.

Three Little Birds

The Three Little Birds store is right next to Gayle's Bakery in Capitola, very charming decor and vintage appeal.
 A must stop!

Thanks Carly for letting your mom have fun looking at all their wonderful collections of special things.

The Campus at UCSC

Carly is excited about her fourth year at UCSC. The campus is beautiful with lots of trees and rolling hills with a view of the ocean. What a great place to sit under a tree and study.

Yes, there's deer that live on the open space on campus which is a nice surprise.

There was a Farmer's Market that day, so I took advantage of shopping for fresh produce. I can never have enough photos of fruits and vegetables.

We had a great day seeing the campus and shopping at their Farmer's Market.
Hope you enjoyed the photos!
