Whimsy Tree Garland

I wanted to give some sparkle to my apple tree and thought of this project!
You can go to Michael's and get the mirrors there. I chose round ones: 25 in a  pack, 1 inch.
I also used round beads found at Michael's, but you can choose any size or color.
I used monofilament fishing line.
I beaded 8 beads then glue gunned
2 round mirrors together and
started the pattern again.
You can make it as long as you would like.
I made mine 5 feet long.
I love how it looks draped around
my apple tree with it's new fruit.
Every tree needs a little whimsy.

  13. What a pretty idea! I am wondering if hanging something like this from my trees by the chicken coup would help distract the hawks....my dad told me to put out a couple metal pans - but this looks so much more pretty! xoxo, tracie
