I saw some vintage Halloween bottles at a gift store but they were pricey.
So, I went to Michaels Craft Store
and bought some
in different shapes for $1.00 each.
Next I found some vintage images on
Karen has a great selection of all kinds of different images. You will love her site.
I used Mod Podge to glue the
images onto the bottles.
Next I used Martha Stewart glue
and glitter to outline the image.
I love this Bat Woman I found
on Graphics Fairy.
I wrapped the image around the sides of the bottle
which made her 3-dimensional.
Hope you have fun with the project!
They are great..i was at Winner's yesterday(similar to HG) with my daughter and the Halloween things were so cute..but so pricey..great idea.
ReplyDeleteLove your bottles! We make our own Halloween bottles every year and love adding to our collection. I've always loved that Bat Lady and now I know how we can use her this year! Thanks for sharing these Jody! :)

Oh, these vintage Halloween bottles are so festive! You did a great job on them. My sister first introduced me to vintage cards years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. I like the one with the bright orange pumpkin.
