~How I Made My Fall Vignette~

I was asked by some friends how I made the fall vignette so,
I wanted to share it with you.
I found the letters at Jo-Ann's Fabric Store.
I cut musical paper for the back of the letters.
I then used Aleene's Tacky Glue to glue it down.
I did this process with each letter.
I bought different patterns of paper for the front of the letters and cut and glued them.
I cut detail shapes on each one.

Flowers and Ribbon
Some glitter
Adding a butterfly and the leaves that I collected,

a nest with blue glittered eggs,
and a little bird.
It was a fun project.
Hope you like it!

  9. Love these, Jody! The colors you chose are are so pretty and the bit of bling is just perfect!

You should definitely try out that pretty lavender dye you purchased! I had so much fun dyeing those fabrics! Just try it out first on some scrap fabric pieces so you can see how quickly the color takes and what hue it turns. Have fun!!!

  14. Gorgeous. Hope you'll share it on the All Star Block Party.

I've been missing out on your Friday link - no projects worth sharing right now as we're in the middle of a kitchen facelift and a mother in the hospital. (she's doing much better)
