~My Favorite Things-Roses & Desserts~

Drying roses is one of my favorite things to do.
I can never have enough.

I should be decorating for Christmas.
But, there's always tomorrow.
And the next day.
For the holiday weekend we made popovers.
A little something light for breakfast.
Oh yes, the desserts.
~Pumpkin Mousse~
Spiced pumpkin mousse with a dollop of whipped cream
and a pastry leaf.
 Linzer Cookies
with Raspberry Jam.
Some delicious desserts
 to end the holiday weekend!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

  1. My stomach is now growling for those desserts! I still have a couple of roses that my husband gave me about 20 years ago in a Valentines bouquet. Happy memories and yes, with those desserts, the decorating can wait. Have a wonderful week x

  2. Oooh, these are all of my favorite things too!... although I love decorating for Autumn... and now Christmas... I was just thinking this morning how much I miss my roses in my garden!... I too love to dry as many as I can and have them everywhere!... we are predicted to get huge amounts of snow this week along with bitter cold temps... I think I will gather the few remaining ones, that are almost freeze~dried out there!... your desserts all look delish!... xoxo Julie Marie

  5. Your roses are gorgeous and your popovers are killing me. I had some in to bake last week and ran outside to get the dogs...oopsie. Too long in the oven. (And a 24 yr. old listening to the timer beep while letting them burn) Grrrr. Oh well, another day. Yours look delicious!
