~ Safari Party~

I wanted to share with you
 my girlfriend's birthday party, Linda.
The theme was "Sophisticated Safari".
It was hosted at Yuri's beautiful home.
She had animals placed as the centerpiece for her table.
Virginia helped with her special touches everywhere!
Pretty colored stones with burlap added to the Safari theme.
I loved her dishes and bamboo placemats.

Yuri made everyone an origami swan.
She is so creative!
She made a momma and baby for Linda.

Tami made the best drink,
Mint Mojitos
It was so refreshing.
The lime and sugar rimmed glasses made it so special.

 Appetizers were Spicy Quesadillas.
They were delicious!
Then we had,
Chilled Cucumber Avocado Yogurt Soup w/ Dill
Maple Glazed Pecans, Apple and Gorgonzola Salad
Wild Rice Pilaf with Shiitake Mushrooms, Pine Nuts and Shallots
Roasted Peppers and Red Onion
Singapore Chicken Satay
Swanson Winery Bonbons dusted with Curry
Served with Angelica Port
A delicious lunch!!
I made a one-of-a-kind Safari crown for Linda,
which I will share at the Simple & Sweet Friday's party this week.
Mary made Linda's cake.
It was the most beautiful cake.
It was a chocolate cake with orange chocolate ganache
in the center on top,
covered with white fondant .
She painted a cheetah pattern with gold luster dust.
Garnished with a stylized poppy with a jewel center.
It was a work of art and so delicious!!
The flowers were beautiful throughout her house.
A burlap door wreath with a cheetah bow.
Virginia, Linda, Tami, Me, Mary, Yuri
( The Party Girls)
We all had a lot of fun!
Happy Birthday Linda!!
I'll be sharing more photos this week of the craft we made too!
You'll love it!
