Drying flowers for Spring is one of my favorite things to do.
Since I had to cut back my roses for Spring,
I decided to pick the roses and flowers that were blooming.
I always love using them for different projects for the Spring.
I found the perfect drying rack at the thrift store.
So easy to tie them up with some jute.
I wonder what ideas I'll find on Pinterest.
Looking forward to more flowers in the garden in Spring.
The roses look beautiful even while just in the drying stage.
ReplyDeleteI love making my own potpourri. I haven't done it for a few years, but now you've inspired me! Though I will have to wait until mid summer. It's cold and snowy here:)
ReplyDeleteI love dried flowers and dry them usually in the container. I really must try this, so pretty. Enjoyed all your photos.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I usually dry mine too,but the last one's turned brown and dropped their petals when I moved them ???
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful they are!, I love the idea and something for me to think about.
ReplyDeleteJody, I love the look of drying flowers. Your roses are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJody & Stan,
ReplyDeleteLove the vivid hues of roses for drying, dear friends!!!
I dried my first roses from our Autumnal Garden last year.
I'm hoping to be able to capture some Spring Roses for drying, as well!!!
I'll be watching for a post of your dried roses in vignettes!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Oh, these are so pretty. I love dried roses. One time my son surprised me with a bouquet of flowers, and when they dried out, I hung them like this. I had those roses for many years. Pink and Red roses....aahh, be still my heart. You have so many wonderful ideas. I wanted to plant some roses this spring at our new home, and I was wondering what month is the best one to plant them? I thought you might know since you are so good with flowers.
