~Apple Espalier in the Garden~

Our Anna Apple espalier had lots of apples this year.
I wanted to share photos of the apples.

The apple espalier adds softness and color on our side fence.
Our son, Scott surprised us with making an apple pie.
Stan loved it for Father's Day.
We also made some appetizers.
Mary's Gone Crackers with cream cheese and bacon bits
and radishes with avocado.
Tomatoes with mozzarella cheese
Antipasto Plate
We surprised Stan and rented a saxophone for Father's Day.
He played in High School.
Scott set up his drum set to play with him.
Great Father's Day Surprise!!

  5. Jody,
I absolutely love your red, white, and bleu header! Then, I love your Rooted in Thyme script! Then, there is the apple tree! We have a pear tree we are training as an espalier, and yours is inspiration to keep working on it.

  7. How pretty your back yard is and the apples look amazing. We have an apple tree and it is full of apples this year too. They must like all the rain we are having. Great Father's day gift.
