~Ideas for Fun Summer Lunches and Simple & Sweet Fridays~

Since Summer is right around the corner,
I was trying to come up with Fun Summer Lunches.
To make at home or have at a picnic on the beach.
I saw this idea making a Turkey Club Sandwich
using Butter Waffle Cookies.
I found the cookies at Trader Joe's.
Bought some Swiss Cheese, Turkey and Lettuce.
It was delicious.
A Sweet Sandwich Treat!
Another idea was using cream cheese and
adding thyme from the garden.
Making a Cream Cheese Crostini with Italian Ham and Asparagus,
was a hit for a light lunch.
A salad on the go using,
grape tomatoes, quinoa, spinach
and fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine).
Add some fresh herb vinaigrette
and you have your salad in one container.
~Fresh Fruit~
Fruit is always good to take with you,
especially putting it in glass containers so you can see what is left.
A sandwich using fresh rolls, avocado, turkey and spinach.

Wrapped up with a pretty cloth napkin.
Makes it a special lunch!
Don't forget something sweet!
Looking forward to the Summer!

  18. I love the idea of saladsin a jar! I'm sorry I've been away from your blog for a little while as my anti-virus wouldn't open it, saying it was dangerous! I knew it was a problem not on your blog but on the anti-virus software and that it would stop eventually!
