It is a wholesale and retail food market in Southwark, Central London, England. It is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London, and sells a large variety of foods from all over the world.

Lots to see:

Fresh Cut Flowers
Desserts & Souvenirs
Beers & Wines
Different Meats & Cheeses

Lots to do and lots to see!
~Borough Market~
It's a wonderful place to spend some time
if you have the chance to visit
London!

  1. Love your post on the London Market. I loved visiting London. We didn't have time to visit the market....Too busy seeing the sights and watching the Queen's birthday parade, June 2011. Thank you so much for featuring my post on Dreaming of England and Fall Tea. I love England.

  13. Jody, don't take this the wrong way, but there is an expression that some people say, even to me, as they are perusing your talents, and it goes like this: " I can't stand you!"....and it is totally love speaking, you know what I mean? I get hysterical every time my friend says it to me, so Please take it the right way :D.
That said, I want to ask you, seriously now.....have you ever thought of adopting another "child"??? because I'd like to be the first to volunteer.....I'll be good, I promise!

  14. I forgot to say in the midst of my last ''love note'' lolol...that I could totally forget and wildly abandon any notion of being healthy and lean for the rest of my life, to joyfully gorge on all those chunks of cheese and breads and fruits until I pass out LOLOL.....must be my restricted diet talking lol.....
I did link up this party, and thank you again for hosting, you are seriously my bestest hostess!!

  18. My sister has been working in London 3 weeks of every month for the last 2 years and I have not made it over to visit her. She is winding down her project next month so I don't think we will make it over there. Steve and I have both been to London, but not together and now I am kicking myself that we missed the boat.

Great photos of London and great features.

  27. I was so happy to read that you have been to Europe Jody! This looks like a great market. It would be awesome to be able to buy my food fresh the day I was going to prepare and eat it. Unfortunately, I live 60 miles from any kind of large supermarket even, let alone a market such as this.
Your photos are so lovely of this one in London and so glad I came by to see you today. I know you must have loved your time here. Thanks for taking us with you :)
I hope you have a wonderful week Jody!
    hugs...
