I received the most charming French clock from my sister, Charmaine.
She had given it to me a couple of years ago for my birthday
and I just love it.
The design of the French perfume bottles are so sweet.
I love the vintage bouquet of flowers.
She found it at a boutique store in Lake Tahoe.
There's something about peonies and a vintage French clock.
They are meant to be together.
I also have a beautiful French vase from my mother.
I guess you could say,
I have Paris on my mind.
Peonies are the most delicate flower,
even in some antique teacups.
Next to the vignette on my mantel,
I hung a wooden antique hook rack.
It turned out just what I wanted.
I love displaying things I love to look at.
Hope you're all having a good week making things you love!!
By the way,
Go check out my sister's web page;
She has beautiful treasures.

ReplyDeleteJody and Stan,
ReplyDeleteThe French clock from your Sister is C`est Magnifique!!!
I, too have fond memories of a Springtime in Paris with my Sister!!!
We ate at a Sidewalk Cafe and shared "half" a sandwich from the menu. . .
the Waitress called it a "50~50" Sandwich!!! BUT, we both paid full price!!!
When my Sister began to disagree, I heard the word Police and decided
it was definitely worth "Full Price"!!!
Thank you for hosting Sweet and Simple Fridays! each week, dear friend!!!
Here's wishing you an amazing weekend ahead!!!
Fondly,
Pat
