~Inspiration for Spring and Simple & Sweet Fridays #213~

Looking for inspiration for Spring,
I wanted to create a vignette with nests.
A feather and stamps
was all I needed to inspire me.
I added beads, miniature eggs and flowers from our garden.
I used one of my cupcake stands to hold the nests on.
I found the nests at Michael's Craft Store.
Different birds added whimsy to the Spring vignette.
I bought the birds at a gift store a couple of years ago.

Butterflies and lights were added later for a magical display!
I love how it turned out!!
My favorite app.-Waterlogue.
My cousin, Linda and her son, Jason came
for a surprise visit from Brooklyn, New York.
I haven't seen her in years.
What a wonderful time we had in San Diego!
Family is the best!!
Wishing you all a Magical week!!

~Easter Goodies~

I wanted to share with you some sweets I made for Easter.
I bought the cutest Peter Rabbit Loaf Pan at Williams Sonoma.
It's a fun cake to make for Easter.
I added lots of detail icing on it!
I just love Beatrix Potter and all the stories she has written.
I was very happy how the cake turned out.
I had to make another favorite dessert.
~ Easter Sweet Bread~
My mother made it every Easter.
Traditions are always so special!
I made some carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
I found some Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit cake toppers, napkins and paper plates from Fancy Flours.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter dinner!

~An Easter To Remember and Simple & Sweet Fridays #212~

Easter
is a wonderful holiday to have family and friends over!
Celebrate traditions that we all grew up with.
My mother and father loved having the whole family come home.
I have 6 brothers and sisters and the family grew to
12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
My mother and dad would have loved celebrating with the kids.
I wanted to share with you photos of the cookies
I made this year and our Easter table setting.
Our family would love to wish you and
your families
~A Happy Easter~
I used my mother's tablecloth for our Easter celebration this year!
I decided to have purple and yellow as the main color scheme.

I found this vintage candelabra for our centerpiece.
Love the purple dried hydrangeas!
Cute little baskets to hold some goodies for Easter
at Michaels Craft Store.

I made sugar cookies then added fondant on top.
Added icing color gel and painted them.
I got the idea from La Table De Nana.
She is so creative!!
A pretty Easter bunny candle from my friend, Jackie!

Wishing you all a very
Happy Easter!
