~Inspiration for Spring and Simple & Sweet Fridays #213~

Looking for inspiration for Spring,
I wanted to create a vignette with nests.
A feather and stamps
was all I needed to inspire me.
I added beads, miniature eggs and flowers from our garden.
I used one of my cupcake stands to hold the nests on.
I found the nests at Michael's Craft Store.
Different birds added whimsy to the Spring vignette.
I bought the birds at a gift store a couple of years ago.

Butterflies and lights were added later for a magical display!
I love how it turned out!!
My favorite app.-Waterlogue.
My cousin, Linda and her son, Jason came
for a surprise visit from Brooklyn, New York.
I haven't seen her in years.
What a wonderful time we had in San Diego!
Family is the best!!
Wishing you all a Magical week!!

  2. Well how fun! I came over to link up and there's my picture from last week. Thank you so much for the feature. I really appreciate it. :)

Your nests are gorgeous! I have girlfriends coming this weekend and I'm wondering if we could make these. You always inspire me.

That's a great picture of you and your cousin. Have you seen that meme that says cousins are your first best friends? That's really true. Isn't it?

  9. Hi Jody!

Thanks so much for your visit. I've been trying to keep my head above water lately and I'm afraid it's only going to get worse as our weather warms up. I actually stopped by on two occasions over the past few weeks but had a problem with the page loading...I'm still learning my way around a new Mac. I am now, pretty caught up with you!

First~~~the nests in the cupcake holder is just one of the cutest things I've ever seen. You really have a creative imagination to keep taking steps further and further when you are crafting or creating or decorating. I really admire that. Did you use this as a centerpiece at all?

Your Easter table was lovely. I love 'passed down' tablecloth...traditions are so important on holidays and we are so blessed to have family to share them with. I love your cookies and cake. I've always wanted use a mold. And the little Peter Rabbit cupcake picks are darling. I get a baking catalog called Fleurs that has so many cute ideas and now I see that Michael's has a lot of neat items in the baking aisle.

How nice to meet up with your cousin! You both live in great places to visit! I hope to get to NY soon, my niece lives in Brooklyn as well. I've been NYC but my husband hasn't. I'd really love to explore Central Park.

Sorry I'm so wordy...I've missed you! I'm jotting down the days of my favorite parties so I can start linking up. Even if I only have time to visit 3 new blogs, it's worth it!!

Take care and Happy Spring!! :)
