Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I found this delicious Talenti Mediterranean Mint Gelato
and
had to make some dessert cups for the holiday.
Being half Irish on my mother's side,
her maiden name was McCarson.
We would always have a big
Corned Beef Dinner
with potatoes, carrots and cabbage.
I'm planning the same traditional dinner for tonight.
Some gummy frogs playing leap frog over chocolate coins,
cute!
Hope you all have a wonderful holiday dinner too!
We decided to do a road trip to Lake Cuyamaca,
Julian to taste their delicious apple pie and
a hike at Anza-Borrego Desert Park.
Here are some photos of our fun day trip!
We had to try Cherry, Boysenberry and Apple.
The Julian Pie Company has the best pies!!
It was our daughter, Carly and Justin's idea for us to make the trip!
We saw the prettiest desert flowers!
We stopped for a picnic before our hike on the trail!
Beautiful streams following the trail.
Spectacular view at the top!
The best surprise was spotting these
Desert Bighorn Sheep.
It was a fantastic trip!
