Romantic Table Setting and Simple & Sweet Fridays #182~

I was shopping one day at a gift stop and spotted these beautiful paper placemats.
I knew I had to have them.
They are so unique.

Photographer, blogger, artist, and stylist Erin Gleeson combines food, flowers, watercolors, and vintage tableware to evoke the ease and festivity of her cabin in the Northern California woods.

They are, "The Forest Feast Paper Placemats".

They are the prettiest paper placemats I've seen.
I found some pretty antique stock flowers at Trader Joe's.
They were just the color I wanted,
Peach.
I also added a embroidered tablecloth for underneath and some of my mother's pearls and fresh pink roses.

I used our Royal Albert China,
 New Country Rose Plates.
It added more to the vintage look I wanted.
In need of a table setting fast,
these paper placemats are your solution.
Every girl loves her pearls and
French Macarons!
For a quick table setting,
Paper Placemats are your answer.
How Romantic is this!

~Summer Memories~

I can't believe in a week,
 it'll be September.
I have always loved the summers here in San Diego.
Going to the beautiful beaches along the Pacific Coast Highway.
Playing in the sand and collecting shells with the kids.
Lots of fun with the family.

Maybe that's why I had to make some blue velvet pumpkins.
Holding on to some summer memories,
and looking forward to Fall.

~Places to see in Portland~

There is so much to share with you about our trip to Oregon.
These are a few photos of places we stopped at.
One morning we stopped at Petite Provence for breakfast.
Katie knew I would love this restaurant.
French Food!!
I loved how they decorated and the food was so good!!
I had the Baked Eggs a la Francaise,
it was very good!

Scott had the Roasted Oatmeal Brûlée,
so delicious!!

Can't wait to go back!
We also stopped at the famous Voodoo Donuts Bakery.
We had to wait in line about 30 minutes.
The decor was very PINK and they even had chandeliers!

Every kind of donut imaginable!

Our kids loved it!
We stopped at Coopers Hall where they serve local wine.
I love how open it felt and lots of pretty lights everywhere!

The wine was very good and of course a order of fries,
made our day!!
The Meadow
The Meadow opened in 2006, a little shop nestled into the vibrant fabric of N. Mississippi Ave. Tucked away between an array of other businesses, you may notice it only for the bright colors of the flowers for sale in front. But besides the flora, The Meadow carries one of the largest selections of bean-to-bar chocolate makers in the country – they have in the neighborhood of 300 different bars. They also carry an amazing 140 plus types of bitters.
I ended up buying Stan a Himalayan salt block for his birthday in May and
can't wait to serve on it.
They had so many different shapes and sizes.

The flower arrangement was beautiful!!
Beautiful painted murals everywhere in Portland, Oregon!

Portland, Oregon is definitely an artistic place!
We loved it!!
