When Stan and I went to
Washington's Flower & Garden Show in February,
I found this burlap Queen Bee pillow.
It's a perfect fit for my outdoor bench.
I might have to make some more outdoor pillows in burlap,
this one is too cute!
I noticed the birds were hungry today
so, I made them a
heart treat!
I carved out the apples with a heart cookie cutter.
And then filled them with bird seeds.
My first customer!
Beautiful day in the garden.
Birds were everywhere!
We also had a surprise visitor,
a baby rabbit.
Mama rabbit showed her the way home!
Up the stairs to the garden!
What a cute idea! Unfortunately the squirrels would love it too, but I may still give it a try :-)
ReplyDeleteNow I feel like my birds are hard done by. lol I LOVE that idea to add some prettiness to the feeder. I think birds really appreciate a platform feeder, too. And how sweet is the baby bunny. I hope they stay safe and well fed in your area. We have two adults that visit u daily. :) Deb
ReplyDeleteCute pillow! I may need to look for one of these. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSweet idea for the birds.
It suits you perfectly:)

Your pillow is totally adorable, I love things with bee's on them, though I'm not really fond of them well I do like them just don't like to get stung. Though I love birds the most. That is a great idea apple. Going to try it. The birds here make such a mess. But it okay I dont mind and love your cute litttle visitor nice day. We had a nice morning here in S.F. Now we are have a crazy wind storm. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon with love Janice

ReplyDeleteOh how adorable! I doubt I have ever seen a baby rabbit as they are not found where we live. I love the Queen Bee pillow; I'd have wanted to buy that too if I found it. It looks gorgeous on your bench seat. Your birds are very lucky indeed to receive such a lovely treat!
ReplyDeleteLove the pillow! i never thought to make one out of burlap, but I like it. That bunny is so cute. It wouldn't do well in our yard. Our big cat like to eat bunnies:(

Thanks for following me! I should follow you. I am not a gardener, don't know a thing about bird feeders, etc, but maybe I could learn something from you! We are home from vacation, but it just takes me a while to blog.
