I wanted to share with you photos of our trip to Idaho.
Stan's brother, John, lives in Ririe, Idaho, with his wife,
Michelle and their two children,
Chris and Katlynn.
He grows alfafa and hay on their 100 acre ranch.
They also raise cattle to sell.
Chris filling the trough with water for the horses.
Katlynn showing their fresh laid eggs from the chickens.
The newest chicks!!
They also have a turkey.
They also raise sheep.
Michelle and Katlynn feeding the baby sheep milk.
Love this photo of Katlynn.
John driving the hay stacker to place the alfalfa to dry.
Fireworks stands everywhere.
Chris, Stan, Me, John, Jerzy(Stan's brother), Naima (Jerzy's wife), Katlynn and Michelle.
We celebrated 4th of July in John and Michelle's backyard.
When we got home to San Diego, our daughter, Carly, celebrated our 34th Wedding anniversary with us.

Thank you for hosting. It looks like your family had a "simple and sweet" time in Idaho. I would love to have seen those farm animals in person and the food and fireworks look like a wonderful finish to a fantastic day!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful time you had in Idaho! I enjoyed the wonderful photos as I don't know that much about this state. They are certainly a busy family, with the farm animals, tending to the fields of alfalfa and hay, and everything else that running such a business entails. Thank you for sharing, for hosting, and have a great weekend!
