~Vintage Roses and Simple & Sweet Fridays #151~

I received a beautiful Vintage sign for
 Christmas from Carly's boyfriend, Justin.
I thought I'd create a vignette
 using some of our roses from our garden.
I used my mother's antique silver pieces.
Added some pearls.
I had a beaded runner to add some shimmer.
Everything looked like it was meant to be in a vignette.
The two bigger pieces of silver are
 a pitcher and a ice bucket.
The creamer and sugar piece were perfect with some jewelry.
I love how the roses compliment the silver.
So pretty!
I took out my sketchbook and watercolored the photo.
Not bad for a beginner.
I took some photos of the last of our blooms in the garden
 before I cut them back.
I'm always amazed how beautiful roses are.
Love to admire them in any vignette!

    You have created such a beautiful vignette... Roses are one of my favorite things... I have several English Rose bushes... Nothing sweeter than the scent of a rose.
    Your sketch is wonderful! You show great promise... Keep drawing, please... Would love to see more... Does not look like a beginner sketch.
