~Packer Orchards Bakery & Farm Place in Oregon and Simple & Sweet Fridays #243~

I wanted to share with you photos of our trip to
Packer Orchards Bakery & Farm Place in Oregon.
It's located in Hood River, Oregon.
They have a wonderful pumpkin patch and corn maze that our whole family enjoyed visiting.
The biggest corn maze I've ever seen!!

Established in 1924, Packer Orchards is a fourth generation sustainable family farm located in Hood River, Oregon. What began as a small crop of apples and pears slowly expanded to 100+ acres of apples, pears, cherries, peaches, apricots, pumpkins, corn, and more!

They have a lot of different varieties of pears and apples to buy!!

And of course, pumpkins!!

Our kids loved the fresh apple cider donuts!!
There was a viewing spot near the Packer Orchards to see
 Mt. Hood.
It was spectacular!!

  2. Oh, Jody what a sweet surprise this early morning to see the Hidden fence post featured! Thank you so very much. Isn't the beauty of fall the best? The farm pumpkin patch you have pictured is beautiful with Mt. Hood in the background. What a picture perfect setting. We have a pumpkin patch farm just down the road from us, but no Mt. Hood in the background! Thanks once again and for always being so willing to open your site to others. Have a wonderful week.

  5. Jody & Stan,
Amazing views at the Orchard, dear friends!
Seeing you all in coats surprises me, as we're still experiencing record "high" temperatures here on the Prairie!
Thank you for hosting Simple And Sweet Fridays! each week!
This Friday is exceptionally sweet for me as "Mr. Ed" and I will attend the opening of our local Pottery Barn Store!

  8. I just got home from Portland and Salem Oregon. We didn't go toward Mt Hood this time.
My daughter and I drove to Lincoln City on the coast last Friday and had clam chowder at Mo's
I could have stayed another week

  10. Jody, this pumpkin farm in Oregon looks so delightful. There is a place here called Apple Hill (you may have heard of it), and it sells everything apples - apple pie, apple cider, caramel apples, and I am going to visit there soon. Those apple cider doughnuts on here sure do look good. :)

    love, ~Sheri
