I found a gold leaf frame at Home Goods and knew I wanted to make something special with it.
I had some flowers, pearls and ribbons.
I love the vintage look.
I had some pretty paper and thought I could use it too!
Putting it all together in the gold frame is just the look I wanted.
Picking some fresh roses next to it was perfect.
Delicate!
Hope you all had a Romantic Day!
That is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Your roses are so pretty and delicate. It's hard to even remember summer right now. I woke up to another 4 inches of snow this morning!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and romantic! I love the color of the flowers. Lynda
ReplyDeleteRomantic and pretty indeed! Lovely with the roses... they remind me of our Alberta wild rose. Won't see any of those for a good while yet so I'll enjoy yours. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute idea and I love the flowwer and the frame. Romantic.

So pretty and fragile looking! Good job!
ReplyDeleteOH HOW FANTASTIC! That frame is perfect and your artwork so vintage, INDEED! I just pulled out some old silk roses the other day that I had for years, put them in a mercury glass vase and set them on my white mantle, in a pure white room. THEY STAND OUT SO PERFECTLY, for Valentines!
ReplyDeleteThank you my dear for coming to visit and for your lovely comment; one of the highest compliments anyone could pay me is that I write well...truly.
Enjoy another CREATIVE DAY! Anita
What a clever idea, I love it. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Jody,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind wishes for our little grandbaby. He is doing so much better and you would never know he had a rough start. His mommy is doing well, too.
I've returned from San Diego and am home nursing the flu. I have so many fun Valentine's projects that I want to make...I only hope I will be able to before the 14th.
Oh...My goodness! I love your many cheery red, pink and white creations. Your header is simply wonderful. You have so many clever ideas and inspirations, my friend! I found the cutest shop in Pt. Loma while I was in SD. I wonder if you are familiar with it. It's right next door to the Pt. Loma Soup Plantation. I had a ball shopping, gathering ideas and visiting with the sweet ladies there. (For the life of me I can't remember the name of the shop.)
Thanks for sharing your darling creations, Jody!
Blessings and a few Valentine hugs,
Carolynn xoxo
