~New Year's Dessert~

Happy New Year!
We're invited to a friend's New Year's Party today and we made baklava.
Hope you all have a wonderful day
with family and friends!

  1. I have been catching up with all of my favorite blogs today. Your holiday home is lovely and also very yummy! Jody, you are a baking queen! How lucky were the recipients of your cookie trays! ...and today's Baklava! Yum!

I am a bit envious of your beautiful garden. Ours is so bleak this time of year. I am getting the itch to go outside and dig.
    Happy New Year!

  2. Have a great time Jody. Your baklava looks delish!
Wishing you a Happy New Year!

  3. Your baklava looks delicious! And I love your perpetual calendar. Such pretty details.

    Happy New Year!

  4. Yummy. I love Baklava and yours looks so good. Haven't made it in years but you are giving me ideas!

  6. OH my goodness, I love Baklava! Yours looks wonderful.

    Happy New Year,

  7. Hi Jody!
What delicious looking baklava! Your last few New Years posts are amazing. I am always so pooped out by this time of the season that I don't do anything special for NYears. Your decorations and special features are a delight. I'm afraid I fell into bed last night after flying all day to be with my kids for the birth of our grandbaby. He isn't here yet...but we are hoping he will make his appearance in the next few days.
I am looking forward to a great new year of blogging and anticipate many happy visits to your beautiful blog.
Thank you for your friendship and kind comments throughout the year.

  8. Love baklava. Have only made it a couple of times, but enjoyed the process.

We had friends over and I made a chocolate raspberry semifreddo - served it with sparklers coming out of the top. Fun, fun.

    Happy New Year.

  12. It's always a feast for the eyes at your house Jody! Happy, Happy New Year to you both. Save me a piece of that delicious looking baklava!
