Over the weekend, I made some cupcakes for some friends.
I love chocolate cupcakes especially
with some edible glitter on top!
With all the inspirational blogs I've seen lately,
I wanted a little bit of Autumn in the house.
I love my new Princess Owl.
I think she would like a little sweet treat too!
One little bite wouldn't hurt...
I made a fresh strawberry, avocado and corn salad for dinner.
So refreshing!!
And a little bit of heaven,
Croque Monsieur.
I went to a French restaurant with my friends, Tami and Mary.
I loved it so much, I had to try making it.
I found Ina Garten's recipe on the Food Network site.
It was delicious.
I can imagine how pretty Paris is right now.
The leaves must be falling everywhere.
So I collected some today and thought of a Charming French Cafe.
Your salad looks amazing...and I love Ina Gartner! She has such a sweet soft voice.
ReplyDeleteJody, your salad looks delicious and I am going to google that recipe...

Jody, it's very, very dangerous to come visit your blog! Now I must make chocolate cake or cupcakes. The salad, the Croque Monsieur...my mouth is watering.
ReplyDeleteAnd the little princess owl made me smile!
I made chocolate cake last week and froze 1/2 of it for later - or we eat it! Yesterday I made pumpkin cookies - oh by. Your cupcakes look terrific!
ReplyDeleteJody the cupcakes made me hungry for some. I may have to make some of these.

Hi Jody and Stan. Those cupcakes look so good and I remember watching Ina make the Croque Monsieur on her show. Tonight I am making her chicken pot pie recipe. I love to watch her. She is so soothing I think. Our kids live in Soquel and our grandson is planning on going to UCSC next year. He is finishing up at Cabrillo this year. It is such a small world. Thanks for you kind comments to me and I will be joining you again this Friday..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteLove the edible glitter! I am going to definitely hunt that down. All of the pictures were beautiful -- and that salad sounds amazing. I love salads with fruit in them.
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously hungry now, and I adore your little Princess Owl!!
