~Pears in the Garden & Pumpkins and Simple & Sweet Fridays #185~

Stan bought me 4 Pear trees about 3 years ago for my birthday.
I love fresh Pears from the garden.

He did say when he retires he is going to make me
 a copper arch that will
connect all the trees in the middle.

~Orient Pear~
I love the Waterlogue app.
We made Brie and Pear Paninis for dinner.
Fresh Pears from the garden, so delicious!!
We went to Roger's Garden in Corona del Mar this week.
2301 San Joaquin Hills Rd. | Corona del Mar, CA 92625 | 949.640.5800
They had the prettiest pumpkin display I've seen so far.
I wanted to share with you some photos of their
beautiful Fall pumpkins.
~Love Fall~
The kids bought us tickets to a
Dave Matthews Concert
at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre last Saturday, Sept. 12th,
 for an early birthday present.
We had so much fun. Of course, being 64 I thought I was the only person there, of that age.
But you know what, it made me feel 21 again.
Yes, there was fun in the 70's.
Bring it on!!

  1. Stan & Jody, the pears look so good. Wow to the pumpkins, I'm on the lookout for some. Mine in the garden aren't working out this year. I wish we lived closer! Yay to DMB tickets, glad you had a good time. Have a great weekend and thanks for hosting.

  2. Those pears look so delicious!!! How lucky you are in your area---envy big time! I'd love that recipe.

You look wonderful in the picture---I think your love of Dave Matthews has you beaming! Love him, too. Wish I could get to more concerts myself. Having a ball this summer, eh?

Don't you just love Rogers Gardens. I haven't been there yet this fall, but they always have such wonderful displays. Did you go into where they have all their Halloween decorations? They have some awesome scary
    items/
Thanks for the great party -

  4. Bonjour chère amie,

Humm !

    Gros bisous ♡

    Brie and pears - yum!

I have heard about Rogers Gardens, but I wasn't sure where it is. I have been told that it is fabulous. I am working on my 50th high school reunion (decorations) which will be held in San Clemente. I need to stop by Rogers Gardens when I go to check out the location.
