~New Dahlia and Sweet & Simple Fridays #73~

Our dahlias were starting to bloom this week.
 I had to share with you some photos I took.
I hated to pick the beautiful blooms, 
but I wanted to enjoy them in the house!
Sweet signs of summer in the house.
Stan picked our Anna Apples today.
So I had to make an Apple and Pear Crisp.
Ina Garten's recipe is the best!
Saving sunflowers seeds for next year.
Our first watermelon.
Remember when I shared the 
hydrangea wreath last week with you.
Well, it's starting to turn purple. 
Still looks pretty good, wouldn't you say!
Hope you were able to play in your gardens this week.

    Oh those dahlias are so pretty the colour is so vibrant. Those apples look so crisp and crunchy and the wreath is lovely in purple. you are so clever the things you grow. x

    That wreath is just gorgeous and I can't decide if I like the pink or the purple better...I am leaning towards the purple I think. I love the old ladder that it hangs on too...just so lovely! I am joining your party this week for the first time! Thanks for having me!
