I saw this idea of covering a basket with hydrangeas.
My friend, Margie and I went to Michael's
and picked out some silk hydrangeas.
We started glueing with a hot glue gun
around the bottom of the baskets.
It took awhile but,
they turned out so pretty.
The handle of the basket looked like
it needed a little embellishment.
We found some pretty garland
and wrapped it on the handle with some butterflies.
It's a great way to display your antique dishes.
Stan's birthday was last weekend and we celebrated
with two of our children up in Santa Cruz.
We had a wonderful Italian meal.
The next day
Stan and Scott went for a boat ride.
They saw a lot of seals and different birds.
The weather was beautiful!
The kids surprised us with a Mother's Day breakfast
in our hotel room the next morning.
They made it at their house and brought it over.
We had to fly back to San Diego that morning.
It was a very special brunch.
It was a wonderful weekend!
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day too!
