Merry Christmas Everyone!
I'm sure you all have been very busy shopping, wrapping presents
and baking for Christmas!!
I wanted to share with you a project I made,
a Christmas Snow Globe.
I'll show you how I made it,
but first some photos of our
HOLIDAY TABLE.
I decided to use a red and white table runner
I bought at the World Market Cost Plus.
I love using red and white with our newly painted table and chairs.
I'll share with you the project in the new year.
A snow scene in the center of the table with branches and glittered pinecones. I used my red goblets at each table setting.
I also displayed miniature Christmas trees and little pick-up trucks all around the centerpiece.
I used my Villeroy & Boch dishes.
I love the winter scenes on them.
The design is Naif.
I've been saving all my Bonne Maman jelly jars.
I knew I wanted to use them for something for Christmas.
The perfect idea came to me.
Display a little winter scene in them and place a name tag on the outside of the lid.
I love how they turned out.
I put out my Bistro de Paris dishes to display candies on
and we'll use them later for a very special Christmas cake.
I love how the look I wanted ties in with our green Christmas tree.
I think I baked enough Christmas cookies this year!
Special gnome cookies, a pretty owl box with match sticks and
Handmade Christmas Tags
I wanted to share with you a craft I brought to
a Christmas party
to make with some girlfriends.
~A Snow Globe~
I found the little miniature houses and round vases at Hobby Lobby.
I also found cardboard ornaments
which I cut circle paper to glue down for the bottom.
I bought different glitter and embellishments
for the girls to pick from.
We brushed Aleene's Tacky Glue on the roofs of the house and then added glitter. We marked with a pencil where the house and tree would fit on the bottom with the globe.
I brought different colored beads to glue to the house and I made some Fimo clay candy canes.
Then hot glued down the tree and house to the paper.
We figured out about a tablespoon of snow for the globes.
No water in the globes at all,
Easy Peasy!!
Then turned the house upside down and
hot glued the glass dome to it.
It was a fun Christmas project!
