~Time for New Beginnings for 2017~

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's
celebrating with family and friends!!
I've enjoyed these past years hosting Simple & Sweet Friday parties.
I can't believe it's been 252 weeks of fun.
Which adds up to almost 5 years and over 1,000,000 pageviews!
Looking back it went by so fast.
I've been so amazed with your creativity each week!
Your inspiring posts and projects have been awesome!!
But, I have decided to take a break from the parties for awhile.
I will still be posting on my blog,
Rooted in Thyme.
I would like to start taking classes in;
Art, Flower Arranging, Cooking and Garden Design.
I will definitely be sharing,
what I learn with all of you!!
There's some new ideas, I'd like to make on Etsy too!
I just want to thank all of you for your continued support throughout the years.
I have to say a very special thank you to my daughter, Carly.
Without her help,
I would never have started the blog or the parties.
Of course, Stan, my family and Justin too!
I want to wish all my blogging friends
 a very
 Happy 2017!!
You have inspired me and I will always love you for that!
May you be blessed with a happy year filled with
 good health and happiness!

  5. Jody,
Love your Happy New Year photos! Thank you for hosting your blog party. Yours was one of the first parties that I joined weekly, and from that, connected with new friends. Weekly blog parties truly were where I found new blogs, new friends, new ideas, etc..., and I am so thankful for bloggers who host them.

I invite everyone looking for a place to share their photos from their blog AND from Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook to share them with Monday Social, a weekly linking party that I co-host with Katie of Let's Add Sprinkles and Eilis at My Heart Lives Here.

Here is information about Monday Social. http://botanicbleu.blogspot.com/p/monday-social_13.html

I look forward to continuing to read Rooted In Thyme for all your inspiration in 2017.

Thank you for all these years of hosting a wonderful party! I will miss it but totally understand your decision. I too am rethinking the future of bogging for myself. With Joe now retired, I want to spend more time dong other things so I am looking to cut back a bit on blogging n the upcoming year. Looking forward to your future post!!
    Happy New Year!!

  16. Jody, I completely understand. Link parties are great fun, but a lot of work, and it does detract from the core business of maintaining your own content. Thankyou for all you've done to assist us in increasing our blog traffic, and all the very best. I'll remain a faithful reader and visitor. Love, Mimi xxx
