Stan surprised me with the most beautiful peony for Mother's Day.
After endless attempts to try and grow them,
he knew I'd be in heaven after seeing this beauty.
When it first blooms it is the palest pink
and a very slight yellow tint to it.
It is the prettiest peach color.
This is why I'm in heaven,
I got the best Mother's Day present.
I wanted to share with you our maderense geranium.
I went to water outside and noticed how beautiful
they are on our hill. Purple Everywhere!
After cutting back our pumpkins,
I realized how they look so whimsical,
as if they could dance.
What do you think?
I agree! They look like they could just spin and dance!! Your hillside garden is breath taking! Wow! And that peony is the PERFECT shade and form! My goodness I am in love with it!!! What a Happy Mother's Day to you!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I definitely agree, they look like a pretty skirt twirling and dancing. The peony is stunning. Thanks ton for joining Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThat geranium is gorgeous!! Do you know the variety of peony you have? Coral Dreams?

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child, my grandmother had Hollyhocks growing beside the screened back porch. I remember making ballerinas with the blooms. Your pumpkin blossom reminded me of that.
Your flowers for mother's day are lovely. Your garden on the other hand is breathtaking.
