I've been cooking in the kitchen
getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Making sure all the recipes tasted delicious.
Little leaves for a pumpkin pie was so much fun to make!
I remember whatever was left over in dough,
my mother would make sugar cinnamon leaves.
So, now it's a tradition.
I made a Lemon Bundt Cake.
I love the Nordic Ware Sunflower Pan.
It looks so pretty for a Fall dessert!
I tried a new recipe with fresh cranberries.
Sweet Paul's,
Cranberry Almond Streusel Cake
Very moist and delicious!!
A must try recipe for Thanksgiving!!
This was my first attempt into making this dessert.
I love using fresh fruit in season.
Cutting fresh dough into strips and wrapping it around a pear.
Baking it.
Made it into a very special dessert!
Of course, we all love Pumpkin Bread.
Hope this gives you dessert ideas for your Thanksgiving Feast!!
I also wanted to share with you that

ReplyDeleteJody you have been busy haven't you. I have seen those beautifully embellished pumpkin pies on Pinterest and I think I will try one. So pretty. Now, I am so mad at you. Why can't you be at Summer's Past Farms in January. That's when I will be there. I wish they had their antique show a little later so I could go. Some year we will have to make the trip in December, but it's hard to leave the family then. Anyway, have a good time. That is such a magical place..Happy Thursday..Judy

I do the same thing with the left over pastry :) I have about a dozen mini cookie cutters with fall themes ... maple leaves (obviously my favourite since I'm Canadian), oak leaves, acorns etc. Just love setting them around the rim of my pumpkin pies. I'll be making more pumpkin pies come Christmas. Your baking all looks delicious, and that pear dessert is so simple, but looks very elegant! Wendy x
