~Coconut Macaroon Delight and Simple & Sweet Fridays #162~


I wanted to share with you a delicious cookie for a midnight treat!
~A Coconut Macaroon~
The recipe is from the blog,
Taste of Home.
Coconut Macaroon Recipe
We dipped them in milk chocolate.

Everyone needs a sweet treat once in awhile!
I love my new basket I found for my new house plants.
~Purple Tulips~
Home Depot has some beautiful plants.
After the Easter holiday,
 I thought I'd get a little break with my new Victoria magazine.
It always has wonderful photos of things I love!!

    Hi, Jody! Thanks so much for hosting! This evening you had me at chocolate-dipped macaroons! I LOVE those! Rather than have a batch around (that spells total danger!!), every once in a while I allow myself to stop in at the Godiva store at the mall and treat myself to one (with dark chocolate!).     The macaroons looks so delicious...I love coconut...so sweet yet subtle and somehow I feel like I'm eating something healthy (I'm pretty sure I am!)

    I scrolled back for a peek at your Easter Sunday. Just wonderful as I knew it would be. Your son is quite the cook...just love that in a guy. And I know you must love cooking and baking along side Carly. So glad you had a good time.
