~Fresh Flowers & Pear Cake~

I couldn't resist when I saw these flowers at Trader Joe's.
The colors were so pretty.
I love Stock and to see them in pastel colors,
I had to get them.
Such a wonderful scent too!
I just bought some Pear candles from a little gift store, 
then I remembered I wanted to make a Pear Cake recipe.
 It seemed easy enough.
A little Sugar
Lemon Icing sounded so good to me.
Don't forget the pecans on the top!
I got just what I wanted this weekend,
Fresh Flowers and Pear Cake!

    Flowers are gorgeous, those colors are perfect. Love the vignette with the fresh pears and the bird plate. I bet that cake tasted great. xo

    I am a happy camper when TJs has stock. They always have pretty flowers and plants, but not always stock. Yours is lovely.

    I so envy your beautiful flowers. Rumor has it we'll be getting our own Trader Joe's in Boise soon, and everyone is really excited. I've always loved their flower market at their downtown Portland store when I visit there. Your blog is simply lovely today, as always.

    Your flowers and photos are just beautiful. Your cake sounds delicious! We don't have a Trader Joe's anywhere near here, but everyone always seems to get gorgeous flowers there. Enjoy!

    I love stock too and have never been able to grow it successfully ....it's wonderful when you can find it! The pear cake sounds delish!
