I love the baking company, Fancy Flours.
They have a wonderful selection for edible papers.
I found these vintage flower seed packets and thought it was a perfect choice
for a summer treat.
~Vintage Flower Seed Packets~
Each seed packet has a colorful photo of flowers.
I made some sugar cookies and cut out vanilla fondant.
I applied light corn syrup with a brush
to place the edible paper on the cookie.
Sprinkled with edible glitter dust.
It was a perfect summer gift for friends
wrapped up in a clear bag with pretty red gingham ribbon!
~Summer Sweet Vintage Garden Cookies~
I love edible flowers in recipes too!
We have lots of beautiful flowers in our garden to pick from.
Edible Flower Tea Sandwiches
was the perfect choice.
With whole wheat bread and low fat cream cheese,
I can have a beautiful tea sandwich for lunch!
