~Mother's Day Tablescape and Simple & Sweet Fridays~

I'm sure everyone is getting ready for Mother's Day.
I decorated the house with the color scheme of purple.
I had to add a little bling to my statue's headband.
Of course, pearls around her neck and
 she's holding some crocheted flowers.
I wanted to use some vellum paper I had for Mother's Day. I love the saying on it,
"Friends Are Flowers In The Garden Of Life"
I thought I could use it for name tags.
I dried and pressed some pansies.
I love how they turned out.
I found some pretty paper with a garden theme,
and made some rosettes.

We will be having
some strawberry cupcakes for dessert.
Don't they look pretty under the cloche.
Here's how the tablescape turned out.
I found some purple roses at Michael's Craft Store.
I used my lace tablecloth with a purple tablecloth underneath.
I made some purple pom poms with some tulle and hung them
with the rosettes on the chandelier.
My mother had given me this beautiful pitcher years ago.
I thought it was the perfect centerpiece.
I added some butterflies too.

Some lavender next to my antique silverware.
I'm still planning the menu and will share it with you later.
Can't wait to see all your wonderful ideas and creations.
Thank you again for always joining the party and giving  inspiration to all of us.

  5. Thank you so much for the feature! I was just flabbergasted by your Mother's Day display ...the rosettes, the purple scheme, and then because I am currently hungry, the cupcakes, oh MY!
So I was sort of spacing out after that thinking "too bad I have 3 boys and NO one will ever do that for me, ha ha " and " Iwish she was my sister or something" and scrolled through the features and saw my cake post. What a pleasant surprise! Thank you ! :)

Meanwhile your mama and grandma are lucky to have you !:)
