I wanted to decorate our buffet for a summer look. I bought this cute bird plate last year
and loved all the colors in it.
A bird bottle under the cloche and my
blue glass candlesticks with my Paris candles in them was just what it needed.
My mother gave me the white serving dish for a birthday gift.
I found my new flower runner at Home Goods.
The colors were perfect.
A little nest with blue eggs and fresh flowers.
How about some votives?
I always love when books are added to the vignette.
Some butterflies and garland to finish the look.
My friend Linda, sent a beautiful present to
thank me for staying at our home.
I will treasure them always and think of her.

Lovely buffet vignette! I love the layers of texture and color. Alas, we are in a temporary home until our new house is built, so most of my pretties are packed away. I miss my mantel most of all, where I love to decorate for the seasons.
