~Tomatoes in the Garden~

Our family loves tomatoes!
A simple watercolor and stamps
 says it all!
Our crop this year has been a good one.
Heirloom tomatoes our of my favorites!

A beautiful salad using our tomatoes, burrata cheese and avocado.
Flatbread with some fresh San Marzano tomatoes.
Garlic was ready!
Every year we grow some watermelon radishes.
They're very good, a little spicy!
Surprise visit from some finches
at the fountain.

I wanted to share with you a photo of the biggest pumpkin in the garden so far.
I'll share more photos soon!

Hope you all have a wonderful week in your gardens!

  9. Jody & Stan,
Your photos take me back to my childhood days of gathering the tomatoes with my Dad!
He let me eat them right from the vine!
    Oh, my goodness. . .
there's something special about the first bite of the first fruits of the Season!
I love seeing all the varieties growing in your Garden, dear friends!
"Mr. Ed" picked his first and only, miniature pumpkin from the Garden yesterday!
I had shared with him about when you choose to open your pumpkins for the seeds
last Autumn and removed the seeds for drying. . .he did the same!
    Enjoy your bountiful harvest!
