I found lots of pretty washi tapes in different prints.
I went into the garden and started cutting flowers.
I made some cards.
Then I started to add them in a collage.
I love them displayed on a vintage board.
Carly and I surprised Stan with a light lunch.
Instead of bread, we made lettuce wraps!
I picked some of our apples this weekend.
Of course,
it was time for an apple pie!!
I couldn't resist these beautiful sunflowers from Trader Joe's!
We took our lab, Maggie,
for her first boat ride.
She's 12 1/2 now and loves the water.
I guess, we were always afraid she might jump off the boat.
Because of her age, we knew this was time to try and take her.
Justin, Carly's boyfriend helped out with watching her too!
The view of San Diego was beautiful!
When we anchored the boat near Sea World,
Maggie couldn't wait to jump out!
It was a fun day watching her swim in Mission Bay!
Maggie loved her first boat ride!

Loved your Washi tape floral collage, Jody.
ReplyDeleteYou have so much going on, my fave friend! That washi tape is fun but you've taken it to a whole new level!
ReplyDeleteYour lettuce wraps look so much more appetizing than mine, and I love them when I'm trying to avoid carbs. Thanks!
Yay! A boat trip. Soon I hope for us as our home is renovated. Milo at 28 pounds has always had me on my toes on the boat. I'm hard on him about climbing the seats. We've tossed him off the dock so we know he can swim but seeing land is much better.
Thanks for stopping!
Jane
Jody - another beautiful post. I love the simplicity of the cards you made. How sweet!

Maggie is so sweet! Our Chocolate Gousse (pronounced goose) is 10 years old. She has her good days and bad with arthritis. Mr D and I pray that she lives into the first year of our retirement in two years. We want to be home to love on her all we can.
ReplyDeleteJody, your Washi Tape cards are the perfect "cheer"!
