Throughout the years I've collected silver pieces.
Some are brand new and others are very aged.
Taking some pieces out for the fall,
brought back
lots of memories.
Of all the dinner parties,
family celebrations & (just being together).
I always wondered who owned it first.
I love the dried hydrangeas next to them.
Timeless but, a classic look.
I found the perfect place on a cupboard shelf that I can light up at night.
A lovely vignette...
Your pieces and vignettes are absolutely gorgeous... love, love them!

It IS a lovely vignette. Is that your butler's pantry area? What a great place to showcase this collection, Jody.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I don't know much about silver and would like to learn. And, I'm learning a lot by reading your blog. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked silver and your display of it with the candles and Hydrangeas looks great.

I do love your vignette. I like silver with some tarnish like yours. Not highly polished and not all black.

Beatiful vignette. I love everything about it and the light makes it look even more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful, Jody. I love how the colors in the hydrangeas are picked up in the silver.

ReplyDeleteAnd LOL ...I think when my little grandson looks at me and says " I love you Grandma" that's what I am...tarnished and loved :) Like your old silver :)
