~Happy Thanksgivings Everyone! and Simple & Sweet Fridays #91~

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I wanted to share with you
some photos of our Thanksgiving table this year.
This year I went with a Rooster Theme.
I found this Sunflower tablecloth at Pottery Barn last year.
I love the colors of Fall.
Clear plates with Autumn leaves underneath.
Old Vintage Silverware
My mother's rooster wine glasses to go with the theme.
Acorn name tags I made last year.
Candles Everywhere

Rooster plates from Williams Sonoma.
Pretty Thanksgiving crackers that my friend Tami gave me.

~Harvest Moon Cocktail~
To make 2 drinks:
1/4 cup Apricot Brandy
1/2 cup each of Sweet-and-Sour prepared mix and
Seltzer Water, and

~Fall Style~

I love this time of year.
Colder weather and leaves falling.
~Warm Colors Everywhere~
I made small vignettes outside with all the things I love.

Here is one of my new furniture additions for outside.
~A French Cart~
A rolling cart I can use when having guests over and
displaying my collectibles just for fun!
I found these Vintage Thanksgiving candles at a Flea Market.
Another vignette for Fall.
I love this needlepoint pillow.
I bought it in a cute Vintage Store in Maryland.
I found these April Cornell pillows at an estate sale.
Just the right touch for Thanksgiving.
A tray with a collection of Fall leaves.
It has been so much fun decorating.
The pumpkins, fall colors everywhere and
 get togethers for great food.
Love the holiday season!!

We will be having the Simple & Sweet Party
 on Wednesday because of Thanksgiving.
Can't wait to see your creative projects!!

~Thanksgiving Desserts and Simple & Sweet Fridays #90~

I've been cooking in the kitchen
 getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Making sure all the recipes tasted delicious.
Little leaves for a pumpkin pie was so much fun to make!
I remember whatever was left over in dough,
my mother would make sugar cinnamon leaves.
So, now it's a tradition.
I made a Lemon Bundt Cake.
I love the Nordic Ware Sunflower Pan.
It looks so pretty for a Fall dessert!
I tried a new recipe with fresh cranberries.
Sweet Paul's,
 Cranberry Almond Streusel Cake
Very moist and delicious!!
A must try recipe for Thanksgiving!!
This was my first attempt into making this dessert.
I love using fresh fruit in season.
Cutting fresh dough into strips and wrapping it around a pear.
Baking it.
Made it into a very special dessert!
Of course, we all love Pumpkin Bread.
Hope this gives you dessert ideas for your Thanksgiving Feast!!
