  1. I have been catching up with all of my favorite blogs today. Your holiday home is lovely and also very yummy! Jody, you are a baking queen! How lucky were the recipients of your cookie trays! ...and today's Baklava! Yum!

I am a bit envious of your beautiful garden. Ours is so bleak this time of year. I am getting the itch to go outside and dig.
    Happy New Year!

  7. Hi Jody!
What delicious looking baklava! Your last few New Years posts are amazing. I am always so pooped out by this time of the season that I don't do anything special for NYears. Your decorations and special features are a delight. I'm afraid I fell into bed last night after flying all day to be with my kids for the birth of our grandbaby. He isn't here yet...but we are hoping he will make his appearance in the next few days.
I am looking forward to a great new year of blogging and anticipate many happy visits to your beautiful blog.
Thank you for your friendship and kind comments throughout the year.
    Blessings,
    Carolynn xx

  8. Love baklava. Have only made it a couple of times, but enjoyed the process.

We had friends over and I made a chocolate raspberry semifreddo - served it with sparklers coming out of the top. Fun, fun.

    Happy New Year.
