I found this cute whimsical birdcage up in Santa Cruz.
It was on the wall in a French gift store.
I asked the woman if it was for sell and
she said let me call the owner on the phone.
The owner said, "yes".
I bought it and now I have it in a special place.
I'm lucky my husband lets me decorate with things I love.
I stacked different cake platters
that I've collected.
I'm saving pretty rose petals for potpourri.
Glass jars are always a great display container.
I made a vignette with my NEST letters.
I bought these a couple of years ago from Rogers Garden Nursery.
A birds nest decorated with
rose petals, feathers and decoupaged eggs.

Your bird cage is enchanting and I'm such a sucker for white cake plates, though I've yet to have one of my own. But your NEST is just divine -- I love every single detail and the vignette is fabulous. Four star!
