~Fall In Our Garden~

Happy Fall!!
Walking through our garden I saw the change of the seasons.
There's nothing like the leaves falling and the chill in the air.
I wanted to share photos of our garden this Fall.
Stan planted lots of pumpkins, squashes and vegetables for our Autumn harvest.

Acorn squashes too!!
A little pumpkin wrapped it's way around an
antique galvanized watering can.

I love squash blossoms.
They're so good when stuffed with ricotta cheese.

This is one area,
where we grew the butternut squashes!

The pumpkins came out everywhere to say hello!!
There's nothing like fresh butternut squash from the garden!

A surprise pumpkin growing next to a stepping stone.

Pretty butternut squashes!
Happy Fall From Our Garden To Yours!!

  1. Well, your seasons are changing faster than ours -- and I'm in Michigan (where it's going to be 90 tomorrow and feels like it today!). Gorgeous photos, Jody. Such a joy to welcome fall with you!

  4. Jody,
Your pumpkins and squashes are fantastic. I've never grown pumpkins and just yellow squash. Who decides when to pick what at your house? You or Stan? I would be so excited if I had your garden and would have a hard time waiting until the perfect moment to pick each pumpkin/squash.

    1. Hi Judith, we both share in the picking of the vegetables. Sometimes he'll surprise me with one that I didn't see growing. This year for some reason the butternut squash and acorn squashes are growing bigger than usual. I love when that happens! All our hard work pays us back with a delicious meal! ♥

  15. Look at all the pumpkins in your garden! I love those sweet white ones. The blue tea cup stand caught my eye, as blue tea cups are my favorite. It's getting cooler here in northern Calif. and the leaves are just starting to fall to the ground. That last picture with the twinkling lights and orange and white pumpkins is pretty. Your Autumn harvest is wonderful, Jody.

    love, ~Sheri
