~Flower Crown Wreath~

I wanted to share with you a flower crown wreath that I made.
I used flowers from the garden.
Waxflowers, baby's breath, wisteria and floral wire.
You can use any flowers blooming in your garden.
This was my mother's statue she had in her garden.
A Spring crown is just what she needed.

My little girl statue wanted one too!

I loved making these flower crowns,
making more soon!

~Safari Crown and Simple & Sweet Friday's #108~

I wanted to share with you the crown
I made for my friend, Linda's birthday.
Since it was a safari theme,
I found a glittered Cheetah for the centerpiece.
I used a piece of chicken wire and cut the shape of a crown,
tucking the sharp edges down.
A glittered star for the background.
Green sparkled tulle and feathers added.
I found some star ribbon for the sides
and silver bead garland for the top.
I had my favorite model try it on.
I loved the way it turned out!
I found the prettiest sequin peacock.
We made a birthday sash with it.
Linda looked so pretty.
I found the cutest terrarium at Home Goods for her.
I painted some pea pots white and then added spanish moss.
I added violas.
It was a perfect gift,
she loves gardening.
Wrapped some pretty things special just for her.
Handmade bows.

Another Home Goods find for Easter.
I think the birthday girl loved all her gifts.
Birthdays are always so much fun with my girlfriends.

Now let's see your creative things you made this week!!
