~Sweet Monday~

I decided to make a simple apple pie for dessert!
Of course, I added some pretty flowers too!
My apple peeler comes in handy
when making apple pies for the holiday!

A sweet and delicious dessert!
Our daughter, Carly holding a bouquet of flowers from our garden.
We're so lucky to live in San Diego where the weather is perfect to grow all these flowers! Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

~Valentine Sweets and Simple & Sweet Fridays #153~

I've been wanting to make some Valentine cookies
with edible wafer papers.
Fancy Flours has so many beautiful designs,
 I decided to order some.
They also sell cookies cutters.
Thanks Carly for the extra help.
Harry, Katie's boyfriend helped cut the edible wafer papers for me.
We iced them and used some edible glitter.
They all turned out so pretty.

Valentine's Day is such a fun holiday.
Can't wait to make more goodies.

~Merry Christmas and Simple & Sweet Fridays #147~

Our family and our sweet Lab, Maggie would love to wish everyone,
"A Merry Christmas".
It will be a very special Christmas with
our kids home.
We've been busy cooking lots of Christmas goodies.
Sugar cookies with
lots of sprinkles!!
My favorite cookies are thumbprints.
My mother would make them every year.
So now it's our tradition to make them too!
Carly and Katie made peppermint bark.

Wrapped up in clear bags with red skate ornaments make a delicious gift for friends and family.
I made Christmas tags.
Love the Santa Claus stamp I found.
Our Christmas tree this year.
Red and White wrapping paper with garland
added for a festive look!!
Red and White mushroom salt and pepper shakers.
Red and White mushroom measuring spoons.
I bought some chocolate cookie mushrooms from World Market.
I added some red fondant on the mushroom caps.
 White sprinkles on top.
A perfect addition to a delicious star brownie.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!!
Enjoy this special holiday with your family and friends!!

Can't wait to see your holiday creativity!!
