~Inspired by Waterlogue and Simple & Sweet Fridays #158~

I've been inspired by the app Waterlogue on so many blogs and decided to try it.
Carly helped me set it up on my iPhone.
I took a photo of the dining room table and it turned out like this.
Love it!
After seeing the watercolor,
I got inspired to set a romantic table setting.
I found this beautiful French fabric up in Northern California
and wanted to use it for the tablecloth.
I made a layer cake for dessert.
Love the different purple colors.
 ~Chocolate Treats~

I just love lavender, artichokes and eggplant.
I used them as a centerpiece with some silver.
Cute black and white name cards.
My french butter dish.

A wonderful romantic table setting inspired by Waterlogue.
Check out our new Silver Teapot Wind Chimes on our Etsy site.
Perfect for a special Mother's Day present.

  4. Before you told me it was an app I thought that was a real watercolor painting. Arn't apps so cool? I love that it inspired you to create such a beautiful tablescape and I can really see the watercolor influence in your choices. The artichokes are a favorite of mine and they are a beautiful accent to the purple. You have a great eye and flare! Thank you for the feature! It was a wonderful surprise!

  18. Hi, Jody. Thanks so much for featuring my Peter Rabbit birthday party! So nice of you! And so nice of you to give us a place to share and party too! I love purple tables (my Easter table post last year was called Purple Passion :), but I NEED purple goblets. I especially love your centerpiece and your flatware--it looks very vintage and beautiful! Thanks again! ~Zuni
