European Adventure- Covent Garden- London

I wanted to share photos of our trip to Europe with you.
My husband, Stan, surprised me with a trip for my birthday.
This is the view from our hotel,
London Marriott Hotel / Marble Arch, London.

When we arrived at London Heathrow Airport,
our daughter, Katie on the right,
was holding Happy Birthday balloons to greet us.
Our other daughter, Carly, on the left.

The London Eye on the right lit up
and on the left is the BT Tower.

We rode the tube in London the first day.
As you can see I'm so excited being in London!
We walked a lot and saw lots of beautiful places.

  1. Hi Jody, wow what a great birthday present! It looks like you had a wonderful time. I love London and was there two years ago for vacation with my family. We did not get to go to Covent Garden Market, but I'll have to go next time. Thanks so much for sharing the lovely photos.

  4. Fabulous! The Covent Garden area is our favorite place...we do weekly antique markets there when we are in the UK. Wonderful birthday! And how special to have family to share it with!

  6. This takes me back to my trip in 2011 with my sister. We were both born in England but had never been back. We strolled Covent Garden one evening, watching a street performer and having pizza in a little spot - maybe the same place you were at.
