I wanted to share with you a project we just finished.
Stan designed a new patio area out in the garden.
We needed somewhere to rest and to enjoy
the beautiful view from another angle.
He used brick with a cross hatch design.
We found the table and benches at Ikea.
The umbrella I bought from Patio World and it's made with sunbrella fabric and hopefully will last awhile.
I cut some white iceberg roses for the table.
The blue mason jars look so pretty with the blue umbrella.
I love the color of the wood stain. We're always digging and putting hand tools everywhere.
With this color you won't see the dirt as much.
I've been collecting suncatchers for awhile now.
Whenever Stan travels he brings back one
from different states he's been to.
Each one is special and sparkles in the sunlight.
I love my new Tuscan Basil Topiary.
I found it at one of our favorite stores,
Trader Joe's.
I found the perfect place in the kitchen for it.
I absolutely love your new patio area. The brick is gorgeous and I love how Stan laid it out! How sweet of him to bring you sun catchers from wherever he goes. That last photo is gorgeous. I love the composition and color combination, way to go!
ReplyDeleteI love your new sitting & enjoying area. We have IKEA chaises in the same wood and are quite happy with the quality.
ReplyDeleteI know you will get much pleasure outside because San Diego's weather is perfect just about every day of the year
Hi Jody,
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful setting, the patio, the table and bench and the umbrella. Don't aqua and brown make a pretty combination? I find these two colours so pretty and calming together. Your roses are fluffy and fabulous and I'm sure will welcome many a lucky guest to your surroundings. Thanks so much for sharing and happy Tuesday!

The new patio area is fabulous. I love it and I am sure you are really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteLove the new patio area! Brick makes it look like it's been there for a long time, don't you think? I wish we had a Trader Joes nearby. I see so many good things from there.
ReplyDeleteThe mix of the old brick and pretty shiny glass and new umbrella is perfect. I love the look.
