Gnome Cookies

I made some gingerbread gnome and mushroom sugar cookies.
I wanted to do something different so I painted my rolling pin with chalkboard paint.
I love how it turned out!

I saw the gnome cookies in an old Martha Stewart book and wanted to make them because they looked so cute & delicious!

I made the icing for the cookies and I added pearl candy to the mushrooms.

It was so much fun making the cookies because it reminded me of a fairy garden.

One of my Halloween ideas is for my whole family to dress up like garden gnomes. If only I could convince the 4 year old girl to do it ;)

  26. Oh my gosh, nothing like hanging with your gnomies! They are so cute and I love the mushrooms. I have to show these to my youngest daughter. When she was in college her and her friends rented a home that they named the 'gnome home'. It looked like a little cottage where a gnome might roam. Thanks for sharing your sweets with Share Your Cup.
